Cleaning turbines and DPF

What is the benefit of cleaning of the injection system?

Increased combustion is a normal phenomenon in cars with large mileage. It is often a result of contamination of the injection system and, fortunately, you can easily eliminate it.

Your car burns more recently than it should, the engine is running unevenly, and the exhaust fumes have become black? This often means that the fuel system needs cleaning. These impurities, which arenot stopped the fuel filter, get to the injectors, and when they accumulate more, they negatively affect their work. Lowering the quality of the work of injectors is not always the fault of the particles passing through the filter, because when only one drop remains inside the system, after drying it lowers its efficiency.

Although the engine power in our cars is increasing, their capacity leaves a lot to be desired. Many engine components are integrated into one block, which makes it much more difficult to clean. That is why it is so important to use state-of-the-art, advanced diagnostic and workshop solutions such as JET Clean Tronic. Thanks to this device, fuel injection cleaning is safe (to a minimum it eliminates the possibility of airing the system) and brings immediate effect.

What happens in the engine?

The result of the contamination of the injector is reduction of the quality of fuel spraying and its combination with air. Spire in the unused injector loses the ability to move freely, so that it does not open and close as it should. At that time, the uncontrolled amount of fuel is delivered, resulting in excessive combustion and uneven engine operation. In extreme situations, the needle may seize, and this usually causes damage to the remaining engine components and ends with a complicated overhaul of the entire drive unit. However, this service costs several hundred zlotys, and during the repair (and often even longer waiting for it) the car will after all be out of service.

To avoid this, it is worth to take care of the injection system in your car. It is a good idea to go for cleaning products. They are usually in the form of fuel admixtures and should be used in three or four month intervals, by adding them to the tank just before refueling.

Diesel: cleaning the system

Modern Common Rail diesel engines and those equipped with pump injectors are particularly sensitive to all types of pollution. The CleanTronic will effectively dissipate the deposits in the injection system while allowing the fuel tank to empty, which has mistakenly filled up the wrong fuel. Also clean it from the water.

How it’s working? Connect the device directly to the injection pump or high pressure pump (remember to disconnect the pre-charge pump first, as it does with gasoline-powered cars). On a special cleaning fluid, the engine should work for about half an hour, some of the time at idle and some at higher speeds – 1500-2000 rpm. Once the cleaning is complete, test drive should be performed. If the engine is less foggy, runs quieter and less burns, the cleaning is done correctly.

Gasoline: cleaning the system

In gasoline engines, the JET Clean Tronic also offers cleaning of the intake system and suction of solids from the strainer inside the injectors. This is particularly important in urban traffic. The device dissolves sediments in the injectors and injection rail, and the automatic cleaning cycle lasts only 8 minutes. To clean the entire injection system as well as the combustion chamber and intake valve, we need 20 to 40 minutes.

This time depends primarily on the degree of contamination of the individual components of the injection system. Sucking up impurities from the injector mesh takes 90 seconds for every 4 injectors. When cleaning the intake manifold, this cycle lasts from 15 to 35 minutes. During this time, the engine is running on petrol, and a cleaning agent is supplied to the intake manifold by means of a vacuum line. In gasoline-powered engines, as in the case of diesel, JET Clean Tronic will help to empty the fuel tank which has been filled with inadequate fuel.
